Many families in Arizona rely on child care to be able to work or attain higher education\u2014whether through a licensed facility, an in-home provider or a family, friend or neighbor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Child care might not typically seem like something to take action for. But Arizona is facing a child care crisis\u2014too often, it\u2019s unaffordable, inaccessible or unreliable. Advocating for policies that expand access to affordable, high-quality child care helps ensure every child has the chance to thrive\u2014and every parent has the opportunity to succeed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3IS3sW7ISso?si=Cotw_BodmgqvAcA4\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year, parents, caregivers, educators, policymakers and community members came for Early Childhood Day at the Capitol. It&#8217;s an event led by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/azeca.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arizona Early Childhood Alliance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, allowing the public to take action for meaningful change in Arizona\u2019s early childhood system. Attending events like this is one way parents and caregivers can create a brighter future for the youngest children in our communities.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Register for Early Childhood Day at the Capitol<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 16px;\">Join parents, advocates and changemakers to show your support for early childhood education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read the Event Recap<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Even if you couldn&#8217;t attend the event in person, there are several ways you can <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1fRo00IXfPF05HX5ML0CCMCGqHQOfk0kpZoIK3Q0nsAo\/edit?usp=sharing\">take a stand for early childhood <\/a>education from wherever you are.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Ways to stand up for early childhood education<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 16px;\">Your voice matters. When you call on community leaders and changemakers, you can help make sure Arizona\u2019s leaders know early childhood education is a priority. Let your legislator know how access to quality child care or early education\u2014or lack thereof\u2014has made a difference in your life. Whether it\u2019s a handwritten letter or a quick email, your message can help shape decisions that affect children and families across the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #595959;\">2. Call Your Legislators<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 16px;\">A simple phone call can be just as impactful as a letter. Most legislators\u2019 offices keep records of the calls they receive.
